Our Approach

We would like to hear from the local community to understand your views on the redevelopment of 21 St George’s Road. We are particularly keen to hear what nearby residents and businesses think.

In February 2021, we also invited local residents and businesses to comment on the proposals via the virtual and postal exhibitions. We would like to thank everyone who participated in the first round of exhibitions, your feedback has helped us improve our proposals and identify concerns.

After discussions with Southwark Council and working with local stakeholders, we are now progressing our proposals for the planning application. Once the planning application is submitted, there will be further opportunities to comment on the proposals before a decision is made by the Council’s planning committee.

We will keep you informed after we submit our plans and provide details on how you can further provide your comments to the Council’s planning officers.

Ahead of this submission, we wanted the local community to be able to review the plans and provide their feedback on the detailed plans.

Gathering feedback

In light of the current restrictions on gatherings, we have taken the decision to continue to conduct the consultation remotely. As an alternative to face-to-face consultation events, we will be gathering feedback online, via phone calls, virtual meetings and a postal survey.

We launched our first Virtual Exhibition in February 2021, which offered the local community a chance to review our initial thoughts for the site. We have now launched a second Virtual Exhibition on our detailed proposals for the site.

To view the detailed proposals and provide your feedback, please visit the Virtual Exhibition or contact the team via email.

We have sent a postal exhibition brochure to nearby residents. It includes an overview of our detailed proposals and a freepost survey. You can also get in touch using the details on the Contact Us page if you would like to request additional information via post.
